ROOM712 成立於2022年，由獨立舞蹈藝術家余巧兒創立，位於石硤尾賽馬會創意藝術中 心(JCCAC),是一個位於香港的獨立藝術空間，致力於推動當代表演藝術、即興創作及跨界實 驗，並為創作者提供自由探索身體、空間與不同媒介關係的實踐場域。機構以舞蹈為本位， 並持續探索其與不同媒介之間的合作與轉化可能，透過跨界實踐（如劇場、物料及其他藝術 形式）重構身體與表演的關係，從而拓展舞蹈的表現語言，並進一步滋養當代舞蹈的發展。 平台強調實驗性與過程導向，旨在為本地及海外藝術家提供一個開放、自由及可持續發展的 創作與展示平台，並於2026年獲提名最佳舞蹈服務獎項。 Founded in 2022 by independent dance artist Carmen Yu (Yu Hau Yi) and located at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) in Shek Kip Mei, ROOM712 is an independent art space based in Hong Kong. It is dedicated to advancing contemporary performing arts, improvisation, and interdisciplinary experimentation, serving as an open practice ground where creators can freely investigate the relationship between the body, space, and diverse media. Anchored in dance, the organization continuously explores possibilities of collaboration and transformation across media—reconstructing the connection between the body and performance through cross-disciplinary practices encompassing theatre, raw materials, and other art forms. This approach expands the expressive language of movement and further enriches the evolution of contemporary dance. Emphasizing experimentation and process-oriented creation, ROOM712 strives to offer an open, unrestricted, and sustainable platform for both local and international artists to develop and present their work.
