The Garland Waltz opens Act I of Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty, composed in 1889 and premiered in 1890 at the Mariinsky Theatre with choreography by Marius Petipa. It accompanies the festive celebrations for Princess Aurora's sixteenth birthday, as villagers bearing flower garlands fill the court with a grand ensemble waltz. This adaptation, choreographed for eight female dancers, distils the grandeur of Petipa's original ensemble into an intimate yet vibrant staging. The dancers capture the joy and energy of the occasion, their swirling garlands and buoyant waltz steps conveying the spirit of celebration. Performed here for our audience, the piece invites all present to share in the festivities—a joyful outpouring of music and movement that sets the stage for the dance to unfold.

Site-specific dance with live spoken monologue In front of a bustling shopping mall, a site-specific intervention interplays the counterbalance and weight-sharing of two dancers. The two bodies form and dismantle, pulling away from each other to find their center. Accompanied by a live spoken monologue that directly interacts with the choreography, the piece invites you to pause amidst the rush of the city and witness a private narrative that will only ever exist in this exact moment, in this exact place.

Dance captures joy; breath never comes to a halt. Three dancers with backgrounds in ballroom and contemporary dance use resistance bands to weave relationships through movement. Within the city's vertical currents, they explore the body's ever-shifting passage between appearing and fading away. Set amid the lively atmosphere of Langham Place, this site-specific work journeys through vibrant Latin rhythms and tranquil rainfall, eventually returning to a conversation with joy in the embrace of a waltz. Between motionless metal figures, dancers and audience share each breath, reflecting together on the fleeting yet enduring nature of happiness.

Drawing inspiration from abstract sculpture, this work adopts a gentle, floating movement quality paired with the ethereal space created by bubbles, inviting audiences to step out of their fast-paced daily routines. Constant busyness often traps people within endless tasks and anxieties, leaving little room for pause. Performers aims to create a temporary mental sanctuary, allowing viewers to detach from habitual hustle, release tension, and reconnect with quiet, unrushed presence.
