王麗虹2002年畢業於香港演藝學院舞蹈學院藝術學士(榮譽)學位，主修現代舞及副修編舞。 2002 年曾代表學院前往德國進行海外交流表演。王亦曾參與多個本地及海外的舞蹈演出，分別有香港城市當代舞蹈團的《後獅子山下的遊園荊夢》及香港編舞家潘少輝先生的環境舞蹈系列之《米、辣、禪、色》。 2012年獲香港賽馬會音樂及舞蹈信託基金獎學金遠赴⻄班牙兩年的佛蘭明高課程，2014 年獲⻄班牙 Fundacion Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco 佛蘭明高舞蹈文憑。 2014年在⻄班牙著名的Museo del Flamenco與中港臺的佛蘭明高舞者合辦 “FLAMENCHINO”表演。 2018年獲香港藝術發展局表演資助製作佛蘭明高舞蹈作品《回迴》。 2019年4月參與著名導演許鞍華電影「第一爐香」，擔任舞蹈編排，同年 12月跟隨⻄班牙的 Barcelona Flamenco Ballet 舞蹈團在中國內地巡迴演出。 王現為佛蘭明高導師、自由舞者及自由編舞者，亦致力推廣⻄班牙佛蘭明高文化。 Betty Wong graduated from the School of Dance of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2002 with the Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts (Hons), majoring in Modern Dance and Choreography. Wong participated in the World Alliance Festival Global Dance in Germany in 2002. Her past performances include The Journey to the Lion Rock for the Hong Kong City Contemporary Dance Company, and “Rice, Spices, Zen & Colour” Environmental Dance for Hong Kong choreographer Pui Sui Fai. In 2012, Wong was awarded a two-year scholarship from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund to pursue flamenco studies in Spain. She graduated in 2014 with a Diploma from the prestigious Fundación Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco. In the same year, she performed in FLAMENCHINO at the Museo del Flamenco in Spain, collaborating with flamenco artists from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. In 2019, Wong worked as choreographer on Ann Hui’s film “Love After Love” and subsequently joined the Barcelona Flamenco Ballet on its China tour. Wong is currently a flamenco educator, performer, and choreographer. Through her artistic and educational work, she is committed to promoting flamenco and sharing its rich cultural heritage with a wider audience.
