DanceHub Lecture Series makes a glory return! Hong Kong Dance Alliance (HKDA) has invited three experts to share their professional knowledge and experience in mediation, insurance and legal issues. Participants would be able to learn more about practical information other than artistic creation. Friends from different performing disciplines are also welcome.

Session 1: Win-win resolution of disputes
Date & Time: 18 May 2021 (Tue) 7:00pm
Venue: Hong Kong Mediation Centre (Room 504, 5/F, West Wing, Justice Place, 11 Ice House Street, Central)
Speaker: Dr. Law Wai Hung Francis (President of Hong Kong Mediation Centre)
- Introducing the aim and function of mediation
- Explaining the process of mediation
- Illustrating the significance of mediation in performing arts

Session 2: Comprehensive protection & planning for your future
Date & Time: 25 May 2021 (Wed) 7:00pm
Venue: Garage Wanchai Lockhart (Beverly House, 1/F & 2/F, Lockhart Road, Wan Chai)
Speaker: Mr. Si Chor Kit Freddie (Professional Insurance Agent)
- Explaining the function and importance of insurance for rehearsals and performances
- Displaying how insurance can protect arts practitioners and how to establish long-term plans
- Introducing different types of insurance for activities and their corresponding content

Session 3: Legal issues for online performances
Date & Time: 2 June 2021 (Tue) 7:00pm
Venue: Art and Culture Outreach (ACO) (14/F, Foo Tak Building, 365-367 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai)
Speaker: Mr. Fan Hoi Kit Alex (HK Dance Alliance Honorary Legal Advisor)
- Identifying copyright and its related regulations
- Introducing copyright issues related to arts
- Revealing legal issues for online performances

Non-members: $90/session; 10% off for any two sessions (Total $162); 20% off for all the three sessions (Total $216)
