New Force in Motion 2017 

 

New Force in Motion 2017 presents new dance works choreographed by local choreographers, giving audience new experience in local productions. We are now seeking dancers to join our production! Apply for the audition before 31 March!

Rex Cheng
Rex Cheng graduated from HKAPA (bachelor degree major in Chinese Dance) and he joined DanceArt HK as full time dancer after graduation. Currently, he works as a free-lance dance artist, Tai Chi, Yoga & Pilates tutor.

He started to learn Tai Chi & Choy Li Fut (a Chinese martial art) since 10 years old, and he has been awarded with First Runner Up in Traditional Wushu (Choy Li Fut) in 2004 and Gold Metal in Traditional Tai Chi in 2016, by Hong Kong Wushu Union.

He has been performing in a lot of local and overseas dance & musical performances, including, “QingMing Riverside” by HK Dance, “Fragile” by Steve Goh, “Hiyori Forever” / “Memory Catcher” / “Illusion-art-scape” by DanceArt, “Gan Eden (Pleroma)” by Andy Wong. In 2016, he performed in “Human Internship” by Justyne Li for HK Dance Alliance “Springboard Showcase 2016” program, and “The Rite of Spring” by Dick Wong for Zuni Icosahedron.

During past years, he has also presented his choreography works, including “Rehearsal”, “No.36”, “To Tear Up, To Gear Down”, “Bingo?!” and “On/Off?” for CCDC Dance Centre “Real Showcase 2016” program.
